By purchasing this marketing pack you understand and agree to the following:

1. As with any advertising provider, you understand that Bookpal does not guarantee results from our marketing services.
2. Please allow for up to 14 days for your printing to be completed once you have approved your print job.
3. For the press release and distribution service, Bookpal will not provide you with a list of media journalist that have received your press release, neither can Bookpal provide you with their contact details. Bookpal can only provide you with an aggregated report.
4. As with any publicity company, Bookpal cannot guarantee your press release will be published by any media publications, TV or radio.
5. We do not produce business card and poster designs from scratch. You will need to select from one of our templates.
6. We cannot guarantee that your full page spread will be published in the next issue of our magazine, as space is limited. Once we receive your order we can then advise you on when your full page article is published.
7. You agree the final wordings for your ad on our magazine is subject to editorial changes.
8. You understand that if a book distributor agrees to market your book, you may have to print several hundred copies of your book to be stocked by the distributor. You also understand that whether the distributor decides to take up your book is entirely at their discretion, and they may or may not provide a reason why they reject your book. You agree not to contact the distributor directly for an answer.
9. If the SE Asian distributor agrees to market your book, the final RRP may be amended to suit the local markets as recommended by the distributor, subject to your approval. You also agree to a 3 year period for the distributor to exclusively market your book in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Phillipines and Indonesia. 
10. You understand if the distributor agrees to sell your book, they will take 70% of the RRP of your book, and may request for several hundred books to be stocked in bookstores. The bookstores will take your books on consignment and all unsold books will be returned to the distributor. You understand you are responsible for the cost of printing the books. Costs will be agreed between the author, Bookpal and the distributor prior to commencing the agreement.
11. You agree to indemnify Bookpal and its distributor against any legal action arising from the content of your publications, promotional literature, press statements and any other material produced by signing up for this service.
