Print-Ready Children's Books
Children's Book formatting is quite different from normal paperback book formatting. Only prepare your own files if you are very well versed with Design programs such as InDesign or Quack.
Sizes Available are
- 5.5 x 8.5" (216 x 140mm)
- 7 x 10" (254 x 178 mm)
- 8 x 10" (254 x 203 mm)
- 8.5 x 8.5" (216 x 216mm)
- 8.5 x 11" (280 x 216mm)
The printer needs a bleed of 1/4" on the top, bottom and OUTER edges (not the gutter), so for the 8x10" book, the final PDF should be 8.25x 10.5 inches throughout the entire document. However, the odd numbered pages will have 0.25" of bleed on the right and vice versa for the even numbered pages. Please call the office for further clarification
