About the Book:
Poetry book that raises local and global issues in today's world.

About the Author:
Edward Labbad was born in Cairo, Egypt 9/9/1980. His family moved to Sydney, Australia 1989. Edward experienced a balanced upbringing of discipline, structure, love and support from 2 wonderful, caring parents. Edward’s father was originally a musician, so Edward was surrounded by music all the time, which he believes contributed to his emotional intelligence.

Extremely passionate and goal orientated (and a typical virgo), Edward is always in search of perfection. And being a basketball fanatic, Edward was always inspired by the beauty and grace of this particular game. He found it so structured and mathematically motivated, yet so artistic and free at the same time. He started writing Poetry at 9 years ago and it helped him become more emotionally aware and helped in releasing his personal tensions and living out his alter ego. It also helped Edward become aware of local and global issues, which has helped him in his travels and to connect mentally and emotionally with people across cultures, as Edward puts it, ‘to step into one’s shoes’.
