An exciting thriller that brings the reader into the mafia world. The plot is fuelled by love, jealousy, hatred and murder. Though a fiction, the story is based on the author's personal experience as a police officer and a SWAT Team member in Australia and in Canada.
About the Author:
Terry resides in Victoria, Australia. He is married to Lorraine and they have two adult children and five grandchildren. Terry is a Vietnam veteran having served 12 months overseas in 1970 as a tank commander with the 1st Armoured Regiment.
In 1972 Terry moved to Canada where he joined the Ontario Provincial Police. In 1974 he was selected in Canada’s first SWAT teams of which there were five. Each team consisted of five members. In 1976 Terry attended the Olympic Games as a SWAT team member. He served on the London, Ontario SWAT team for 6 years.
In 1980 he and his family returned to Australia where he was appointed Training Sergeant of the elite Victoria Police Special Operations Group as well as operating in a tactical team capacity.
In 1986 he attended the Special Air Service Regiment (SAS) Anti-Terrorist Instructor’s Course. Terry worked on the Hell’s Angels and other outlaw motorcycle clubs, the Russell Street bombing, the Walsh Street police murders and many other high risk investigations. Terry has also worked on numerous Witness Protection Programs.
In 1990 he trained the Collingwood Football Club (AFL) in a one month mental toughening and leadership program. He also trained John Bertrand’s “One Australia” America’s Cup team. Terry has also trained several other high profile football teams.
After resigning from the police force he worked at Wesley College, Melbourne for 8 years in the role of Student Officer and Head of Security. He is recently retired and lives in Wodonga.
