About the author:

Born in Mackay, Queensland Kurt Deakin grew up on the Sunshine Coast. Years later after finishing school he moved to Brisbane, where he has lived ever since, and worked for an aerospace company. In 2008 he began studying engineering at the Queensland University of Technology.

A year later, while still studying, he finished work on ‘Twilight city’ the first book in the Immortal Born Saga. He still writes every day.
