Publishing Testimonials
The publication of my book ‘Rugby League: Through the eyes of a whistle’, has been an experience I will always remember. It was one thing to write the book, have it assessed and edited, but it is another to have the book published in a truly professional manner.
I got more than just a professional publication of the book through BookPal. The prompt reply to my first approach to BookPal left all other publishers I contacted far behind when they responded immediately and positively.
The staff of BookPal I had close contact throughout the publication preparation were Devi, Debbie and Teddy. The were all extremely helpful and wonderful people to work with. I would not consider any other publishers above BookPal.
Gratefully yours

Having now received the advance copy of my book, “Bugles at Twilight”, I am writing to say how delighted I am with the quality of the product turned out by BookPal.
A concern I had about the clarity of reproduction of old photographs in the printed work has been completely overcome. I did believe that self-publishing would be beyond me, but the clear and simple process and guidance by BookPal made the completion of the print-ready manuscript easy.

This is one happy customer and I have referred a number of business associates to Book Pal since the final product of my book was so professionally and efficiently delivered and with such friendly service too. What a great team.

Publishing my novel with BookPal has been the best and smartest thing I have ever done in my life. With a company that shows nothing but respect and understanding, I have been so fortunate to be apart of their team.
I know I made a wise decision. BookPal isn't only a company that publishes books. It is a strength of support that helps get you to the place you want to be and I can't thank them enough.

"I was really excited to find such an affordable, professional and customer-friendly printing alternative right just I needed it. It's refreshing to deal with a business which still understands the word "service".
The BookPal team have really gone out of their way to ensure that I was satisfied at every stage of the process.

"It was near the end of the process of final decisions to have my book printed that the person I was dealing with left and Teddy was appointed his new position. He had to come up to speed very quickly to help me reach my deadline, as well as backup all the other stuff that I had been told. He did it with great ease and personality. It's great having a real "voice" to talk to on the phone and he was always accessible, gracious and even laughed at my bad jokes (though some must have been good). Bookpal and Teddy make a great team and I would entrust them with all my future prints and reprints of more books to come. It''s a rare quality of the personal touch so lacking in business today that will keeping me as their customer."

"We enjoyed writing our book, "The Song of Enduring Sorrow", (a gripping murder mystery set in China just after the Cultural Revolution) and, as we received lots of positive feedback from people who read it, we decided to self publish it as a money raiser for charity.
Unfortunately, while it was relatively easy to format our book on-line using a very well-known American self-publisher, when we received the first copies of the book it was clear that the quality of the finished product (printing, paper, and binding) left a great deal to be desired. There was no way we could ask people to pay good money for a book that would fall apart almost immediately.
So we looked around for an Australian self-publisher, to see if they could do better. We are very glad we chose Bookpal as the service is not only professional and friendly but, most importantly, the product if of a consistently high standard.
Should we write any other books we will most certainly use this company again.

From Berlin to Siberia, from the small island of Usedom on the Baltic Sea to Vienna, fate wove her net around a young girl’s heart at the beginning of World War II. Six years of all enduring love and heartbreak. A hope for a better tomorrow for the girl, the spy without a home and the prisoner of War in deepest Siberia kept them alive.
The end of the War had come and the road of Yesterday’s Dream is covered with broken hearts and memories never to be forgotten.

Just wanted to let you know that my book came on Friday and it’s WONDERFUL, thank you so much! It looks so much better than I hoped for – you’ve excelled yourselves!
I first had it published on Lulu – but for what you guys did with it, I can honestly say it was worth the money! I’ve recommended you to a fellow author friend of mine who also has her book on Lulu but says once she gets the money together she will check BookPal out.
You have my full permission to use the above for your testimonials!

At the age of 71 I decided to write my life story. This is the first novel I have written and I had no idea how to go about getting my book printed and published.
Having searched the internet for a suitable company to help me I came across Bookpal. I decided to give them a try and I am so glad that I did. The whole team has professional, courteous and extremely helpful at all times. They have unlimited patience when helping novices like me to overcome the few hurdles that arise. Since using their service we have enjoyed many a laugh and I can truly say the whole team has not only been professionally helpful but they have also become my friends.
Thank you Bookpal, if I ever write a second book I will be knocking on your door again. That's if you can stand it!

Frank sees the publication as a fitting tribute to his beloved grandmother, the central character; Many copies have been mailed to eager readers. He says that while research and typing were spread languidly over three decades, ideas of self-publication crystallised only in 2008 when he discovered BookPal after rejection by another publisher. A real win! He judged the whole self-publication exercise as very easy, very fast and at likely unbeatable unit cost, thanks to the technical competence and inter-personal skills of BookPal staff - none of whom he has ever met.
He offers unqualified tribute to BookPal, happily recommending that firm to all budding authors.

As a person who wished to have a small number of books published, I am very satisfied with the results of enlisting the expertise of Bookpal. The completed books have been printed in an excellent style, courtesy and care were hallmarks of all business dealings, and costs were quite reasonable.

Breaking The Chains of Painful Love was my first foray into the world of book publication and all of the daunting processes involved. I had already done enough research to know that self publishing was dedefinitely the way to go for a new author to get a book out into the world with minimal fuss and expense. BookPal, and their parent company PrintPal were easily found through a Google search, and were attractive from the start, as the web sites were easy to navigate, and contained a great deal of very helpful information aimed at the first time authors.
When I had decided that BookPal was the way to go, my first point of contact was with Julie, who from the start was incredibly helpful. She stayed in close contact with me throughout the whole process, providing a wealth of information, guidance and support every step of the way, answering any questions quickly and thoroughly (and Ihad quite a few).
Thank you very much Julie and PrintPal. You've been an absolute delight to work with. I would recommend PrintPal to anyone looking to self publish.

We are sorry that this Thank You is late getting to you but we have been very busy moving house. We just wanted to say how happy we are with the book and the wonderful job you have done and what a pleasure it was doing business with such friendly and helpful people. We have moved to the beautiful South Coast at Maloney’s Beach, a sleepy little corner with just a 300 metre walk to the beach; I don’t think it can get much better!
Thank you everyone once again for the brilliant job and service and when I write my next book we will certainly contact you again.

I was very unsure about having my first book printed. I had a vague idea of what I wanted, but did not have any idea how to go about it! BookPal was recommended to me by another writer, so I contacted them.
From the first email, I was guided through the process by my fantastic consultant! He helped me with paper choice, design and layout. Throughout he reassured me that we wouldn't print the book until I was completely satisfied. When I received my proof copy, I was delighted! It was a professional, flawless looking book! I was so happy!
Many people have said to me that the book is fantastic! It looks and feels great! I keep referring people to BookPal, because there is no way I could have done it without them!
Thanks and best wishes,
