I have no knowledge of publishing. I had always wanted to write a book. The conclusion I came to talking with other publishers was that they would only waste my time. When I viewed Bookpal’s offerings, I had no such reserve. They were offering to publish work in a business-like way. "We enjoyed writing our book, "The Song of Enduring Sorrow", (a gripping murder mystery set in China just after the Cultural Revolution) and, as we received lots of positive feedback from people who read it, we decided to self publish it as a money raiser for charity.
